Public Citizen said Tuesday that PJM Interconnection’s response to the public advocate’s petition to federal regulators regarding financial transmission rights market oversight did not address concerns about the grid operator’s ability to regulate FTR trading. “PJM’s response to my petition fails to recognize the issue I raised,” Tyson Slocum, director of Public Citizen’s energy program, said in a phone call Tuesday. “As long as PJM is the prime regulator of the FTR market, consumers and other market participants are at risk,” Slocum said.
