EDF delays fuel loading at Flamanville-3 to end of 2022

EDF will delay fuel loading at its new Flamanville-3 EPR in northern France until the end of 2022 to make repairs on welds in the unit's main secondary coolant system, delaying operation until early 2023, Xavier Ursat, the executive director in charge of nuclear engineering and new build at EDF, said October 9 during a conference call for reporters.
