摘要

Policymakers in Europe are moving too slowly to provide a regulatory framework for renewable hydrogen and risk losing private investors who are looking to finance projects, a special adviser on hydrogen to the International Energy Agency said July 7. Noe van Hulst, a former hydrogen envoy at the Dutch economic affairs ministry who now advises the IEA, said developers were waiting for the EU and national governments to outline market rules and provide adequate financial support for projects, with the slow pace putting the bloc's near-term targets in jeopardy.
