ISO New England power dailies trend down despite strengthening demand

1.1 The Mass Hub on-peak day-ahead on-peak package traded down $3 from the previous settlement to $25/MWh on the Intercontinental Exchange for Aug. 18 delivery. 1.2 The balance-of-the-week on-peak package was valued in a bid offer range from $23/MWh to $27/MWh. 1.3 ISO New England forecast peakload to rise more than 10% on the day before sinking later in the week. 2.1 In the New York Independent System Operator footprint, Zone G on-peak locational marginal price fell over 25 cents to the low $20s/ MWh for next-day delivery. Zone J on-peak rose $2.25 to price in the mid-$20s/MWh. 2.2 Off-peak packages ticked up across the board. Both Zone J and Zone G rose near 60 cents. 2.3 NYISO forecast peakload to tick up less than 1% on the day before dipping later in the week.
