Weak LNG prices and unfavorable economics for deliveries to Asia andEurope suggest US export volumes will remain depressed throughmuch if not all of the summer and perhaps beyond.Operators are pulling forward maintenance, shutting down unitsand working to control costs as they seek to manage the lowerproduction levels that are symptomatic of reduced global demand andtrade flow disruptions due to the coronavirus pandemic.
