Libyan oil output fell back below 700,000 b/d in February, owing to maintenance work being carried out at some of its oil fields in the Sirte Basin, according to Mustafa Sanalla, chairman of the state-owned National Oil Company. Sanalla said February 14 that oil production was averaging 691,000 b/d and that it had fallen around 30,000 b/d, owing to maintenance work being carried at oil fields operated by its subsidiaries Arabian Gulf Oil Co. (Agoco) and Sirte Oil Company (SOC).
