GN completes expansion

Gas Natural's new shares began trading on April 3, following its €3.5 billion capital expansion. The company announced March 31 that the expansion, to help acquire Union Fenosa, had been successfully completed by the March 28 deadline. GN's takeover deadline for Fenosa is April 14, and the acquisition is expected to be finalized in late April. GN and UF are expected to convene respective board meetings in June, to approve GN's merger by absorption of UF.
