DA power up 22% y-o-y

The average price of day ahead power in September on the Italian Power Exchange was €81.31/MWh, the highest level since February 2009 and up 22.2% on the same period in 2010. According to data published by market operator GME on October 24, in the first nine months of 2011 the average purchase price was €70.01/MWh, an increase of 9.1% over the 9M 2010.
