Eni, Calik to begin Unye-Ceyhan line

Italy's Eni and Turkey's Calik Enerji will begin construction of their long-planned oil pipeline from the Turkish Black Sea port of Unye to Turkey's Mediterranean oil hub at Ceyhan in the second quarter of 2010, a source close to the project said April 14.rnThe pipeline is one of three designed to bring Caspian oil to market without having to go through the heavily congested Bosporus Straits.
