Siemens forms gas turbine JV

Siemens has formed a new joint venture in Russia with the country's leading power engineering company Power Machines to manufacture and service gas turbines, according to an agreement signed December 1. Siemens will hold a 65% stake in the joint venture known as Siemens Gas Turbine Technologies with Power Machines holding the remaining 35%. The project has already been approved by the antitrust authorities in Russia, Germany and Austria, Siemens said.
