Draft plan approved for Komarnica

Montenegro's government approved April 17 a draft spatial plan for a multi-purpose dam and hydropower plant on the River Komarnica.The plan, which was commissioned by the Ministry of Sustainable Development, and prepared by Slovenia's Geateh and local companies Urbi Montenegro and WINsoft, calculated the cost of the 168-MW Komarnica plant at €183 million, including €94 million for civil works, €57 million for electromechanical equipment, €12 million for hydro-mechanical equipment, €13 million for project design and administration and €7 million for grid connections.
