Greece to put renewables on sustainable path

Greece's Ministry of Environment, Energy and Climate Change announced December 21 a €2/MWh ($2.60/MWh) charge on lignite-fired power output and a reduction in renewable energy subsidies, in order to put the country's green energy program on a sustainable footing.
