Repsol opens 126-MW Kappa solar cluster in Ciudad Real

Spanish integrated energy group Repsol has started its first solarphotovoltaic plant in Spain, a 126 MW Kappa cluster at Ciudad Real, itsaid June 21.The first two units with a combined 90 MW are already operational,while the remaining 36 MW unit is yet to come online, the company said.Once fully operational the Eur100 million ($119 million) plant wouldsave 107,600 mt of CO2 per year, it said.
