Italy awards 927 MW demand response power contracts for March

Italy’s Terna sold 927 MW of UVAM electricity demand response contracts for March 2021 with prices roughly in line with the previous sale, the system operator said Feb. 26. A total 769 MW of March contracts were awarded to 23 suppliers at an an average weighted price of Eur23,184/MW/year ($27,915/MW/year) for the more power-intensive northern zone (Zone A).
