Report advocates 10 GW new UK nuclear capacity

A report released June 18 by a UK non-governmental organization focused on the energy sector has urged the construction of at least 10 GW of new nuclear capacity in addition to the 3.2-GW Hinkley Point C nuclear plant being built in western England. The report, “Nuclear for Zero: a Whole Energy System Appraisal,” was published by Catapult Energy Systems.
