Portugal launches Eur7 billion H2 strategy

Portugal’s government has put forward a national hydrogen strategythat could see Eur7 billion ($7.6 billion) invested through to 2030 as thecountry strives to decarbonize energy, industry and transport, it saidMay 21.The strategy, now available for public consultation until July 6,intends to introduce incentives and stability for the energy sector bygradually introducing hydrogen as an integrated pillar in adecarbonized energy mix, the country’s Cabinet announced.
