Gas-fired CHP plants start at Kiel, Berlin

Two gas-fired combined heat and power plants at Kiel and Berlin-Lichterfelde have entered full operation in December, owners Vattenfalland Stadtwerke Kiel said.The Kiel plant, delayed by over a year due to construction issues,replaced a 350 MW coal unit that was closed in March.
