December demand response contracts edge up

Some 91.4 MW of December demand response power contracts have been sold in auction by Italian grid operator Terna, with Area A prices rising to Eur29,006.90/MW, the company said November 27. The largest winner in the Area A sale, which comprises Italy’s North and Center North zones, were Enel X and Edelweiss Energia, which were awarded 20.3 MW and 17.5 MW respectively from a total of 75.2 MW.
