摘要

In this paper, the implementation of a power supply for the generation of plasma, with the purpose of sterilizing a surface, is presented. A power supply based on a Class-E switching amplifier is proposed. This switch-mode amplifier is capable of producing a high-voltage and high-frequency output for plasma generation. In addition, a feedback mechanism is used to handle load variation. This is achieved through the characterization of the load at high voltages while generating plasma. Portability of the system is the primary goal of this paper. Thus, the implementation of a miniaturized circuit capable of achieving high efficiency and low power consumption at the same time is critical. The design and implementation of the complete battery-powered system, as well as the simulation and measurement results are discussed.
