The next RehabZone will be in a new city and include several new features. The RehabZone focuses on technologies for rehabilitating the world's underground utility infrastructure. It is a "show within a show" at the annual Underground Construction Technology International Conference & Exhibition (UCT). In 2006, UCT will move to Atlanta, only the second time in the event's 12-year history, that it has not been in Houston. Show dates are Jan. 24-26, 2006, at the Cobb Galleria Centre, located in northwest Atlanta at Interstate Highways 75 and 285. The "Zone" has been a popular feature at UCT since it was introduced in 2002, says Irv Gemora, executive director of NASSCO, sponsor of the event. "Planners are developing a unique new display approach for 2006," Gemora continues. "We never forget the things that have made the RehabZone so popular, but each year planners look for new ways to make presentation of information more beneficial to those who go through its exhibits." In Atlanta, the 'Zone will occupy approximately 4,000 square feet of space on the UCT exhibit floor.
