GEMS trust challenges NJDEP's '11th hour' effort to extend cleanup beyond allotted 10-year consent order

The GEMS Phase Ⅱ Trust challenged on July 2 the New Jersey Department of Evironmental Protection's move to have the trust continue work at the Gloucester Environmental Management Services Inc. (GEMS) Landfill site beyond the allotted 10-year period in a consent decree until containment of a contaminated groundwater plume.
