The company that polluted the Shieldalloy Super-fund Site in Newfield and Vineland, N.J., will pay more than $5.6 million toward its cleanup under a proposed settlement, the Environmental Protection Agency said Nov. 16. The Shieldalloy Metallurgical Corp., now a part of AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group, N.V., a specialty metals company based in the Netherlands, agreed to pay $5,635,000 toward cleanup efforts, according to the consent decree.
