SIU students kick off semester with Chicago tour

Professor Norm Lach from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale recently spent three days with the students in his Integration course looking at precast concrete manufacturing and design in the Chicago, 111., area.rnStudents visited Lombard Architectural Products Co. in Alsip, 111., where Floyd Page led them on a tour of tr facility and gave the students an overview on precast concrete design and manufacturing.
