River Run Foods Expands Capabilities with Retortable Cartons

River Run Foods, a co-packer of food products in Northumberland, Pa., has expanded its capabilities to include filling and packaging in Tetra Re-cart carton packages. River Run is already known for its more than 100 years of combined experience filling high-acid foods, like tomato-based sauces, into jars. The new retortable carton category expands the existing product and capacity offering. Plus, with 80% lower carbon footprint and significant weight and space savings compared to alternatives, TetraPak says that its Tetra Recart system offers many benefits to River Run customers wishing to enhance the overall sustainability of their food products.
