IPSA Western Cape's decision to run the Design for Recycling breakfast seminar just before the opening of Propak Cape was an inspired choice that saw more than 130 people attend the early-morning function. Those numbers included international visitors and delegates from the World Packaging Organisation (WPO), as well as savvy Capetonians who decided to give bumper-to-bumper morning traffic a miss.rnMarjoleine van der Walt, co-owner of M&A Design, spoke about having to think out of the box in terms of sustainable packaging and of how important it is for good packaging designers to understand the circle of life.
