In last year's FTASA Print Excellence Awards, no fewer than 24 of the 45 winning entries were printed using Flint Groups Nyloflex flexographic printing plates.rnAccording to Gavin van Rensburg, CEO of Kemtek Imaging Systems, the South African distributor of Flint plates, this means that Flint's Nyloflex plates have been used in 53% of the winning entries.rnStarting with the Best on Show awards, both the Gold and Bronze winners - Nampak Flexibles Pescanova Filetes de Merluza packaging, and KB Labels' Magalies Tropical Punch labels - are printed using Flints Nyloflex ACT plates.rnIn the various labelling categories, Flint plates are used to print Ferroprint's Gold, Silver and Bronze award winners (four in all), as well as KB Labels' Gold winner, DLC Pack's Silver and Bronze winners, and Standard Labels' Out of Africa winning entry.rnMore use of Flint plates could be spotted among the corrugated packs, which won three citations for Nampak Corrugated; and among the paper products where Gold, Silver and Bronze winners from KB Labels are all printed using Flint Nyloflex ACT plates.
