Entrepreneur saves jobs with Parkside acquisition

Entrepreneur Stephen Matthews has acquired the business and assets of Park-side Flexibles from the administrators, safeguarding the employment of 150 staff. The acquisition was funded with a combination of equity and trade finance. Based in southern England and Spain, Mr Matthews is 100 per cent owner of a new company, to be called Parkside Flexibles (Norman-ton), specifically formed for this acquisition.
