Bridget Jones star backs glass event

Model and actress Lisa B joined forces with Friends of Glass last month to help launch the first Choose Glass Week. The model joined British Glass director general David Workman and representatives of the Friends of Glass organisation to kick off the pan-European event. Choose Glass Week is the latest stage in a campaign that aims to promote glass as a packaging material to consumers for its easy recycla-bility. It ran in the last week of September. Lisa B, best known for her turn as Hugh Grant's other woman in the film Bridget Jones' Diary, told Packaging News: "We all have lots of decisions to make and when something is simple to do it should be championed more."
