Cadeaux Chocolates, a woman-owned and operated, Seattle-based boutique confectioner, has redesigned its chocolate boxes-moving from an acetate box with a pressure-sensitive label to a more eco-friendly paperboard carton with a hand-crafted versus homemade look.rnThe new packaging utilizes a Forest Stewardship Council-certified, 80 percent post-consumer fiber paperboard, which required close collaboration between Janet Shimada, owner of Cadeaux Chocolates; print services provider Scott Hill, principal at Evolution Press Inc.; and graphic designer Kelly Pensell, principal/strategist for Graphiti Associates Inc.
