When the Packaging Impressions staff and I put the finishing touches on last month's issue from our respective homes, I was really hoping it would just be a one-time thing. Putting together a magazine is a pretty significant team effort involving multiple editors, an art director, an advertising operations manager, and several more integral roles. For the most part, we all work out of NAPCO Media's main office in Philadelphia, and when we're getting close to deadline, collaborating face-to-face to put the final touches on a story, cover design, or page layout is essential to putting out a high-quality magazine.
