Serial production of the 152mm SP-152 (2S19) Msta-S is ongoing, primarily for Russian Army procurement. Export sales have thus far accounted for only about 5 percent of all 2S19 production.rnAccording to reports, the Russian Army intends to ultimately replace its earlier 152mm 2S3 and 2S5 systems with the 2S19. To date, the Russian Army has accepted at least 1,066 2S19 systems; we believe the Russian Army may accept another 600 units through 2019.
