The center of gravity for the British Army's AS90 program has shifted to the modernization and retrofit of the existing operational systems. In June 2005, the U.K. Defence Logistics Organization (DLO) awarded BAE Systems a five-year partnering contract worth about $105.8 million to provide logistical support for the British Army's six AS90-equipped field regiments of the Royal Horse Artillery and Royal Artillery.
