Equinix offers access to Alibaba Cloud in 17 markets

Equinix, Inc. will offer Platform Equinix access to Alibaba Cloud, the digital technology and intelligence backbone of Alibaba Group, in 17 metros around the world. The offering follows API integration with Equinix Cloud Exchange Fabric (ECX Fabric), which will enable customers in these markets to use a single portal to quickly create and manage private connections to Alibaba Cloud on demand in any of the 45 ECX Fabric metros, says the data center services and connectivity provider. The 17 markets include Dubai, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, Jakarta, London, Singapore, Sydney, Tokyo, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Seattle, Silicon Valley, and Washington, DC. Customers in these locations will have access to such Alibaba Cloud services as Elastic Compute Service, Storage, Relational Databases, Big Data Solution and CDN. Its ecosystem includes e-commerce and payments, logistics, and supply chain management solutions.
