摘要

Knowledge management refers to the process of knowledge creation, sharing, and capture in organizations. Knowledge management is changing rapidly with advent of usage of social software such-as cloud-based, standard, less-costly and more effective to meet special needs. Social software like Web 2.0 and Enterprise 2.0 are supporting group interaction. That is to say that, use of social software allows more openness toward outside such as universities, suppliers, customers etc. However, this can cause trespasses in the firm's boundaries by outside agencies and may result in proprietary information and there by pose threats to their competitive advantages. This paper addresses the question of how changes in the knowledge management at the firm level may have implications on business its business processes. (83 refs.)
