Negotiating Netscape's Frames

The tremendous rise in popularity of Netscape Navigator as the Web client of choice made Netscape Communications Corporation the leader in developing new directions for HTML standards. With the release of Netscape Navigator 2.0, the company introduced a brand new way of presenting information on the Web—frames. Several Web sites have already adopted this new presentation style and Netscape has proposed the adoption of frames into the next generation of the HTML standards.
