CONFERENCE CORRAL

摘要

IFLA, the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (ifla.org), met for its 79th general conference and assembly in August 2013 in Singapore. The conference moves around the world, and this year was Asia's turn. The theme of IFLA's World Library and Information Congress (WLIC) was Future Libraries: Infinite Possibilities, although some conference sessions reflected outgoing president Ingrid Parent's presidential theme of Libraries—A Force for Change. In many ways, the two themes complement each other: Being a force for change implies infinite possibilities.
