First, an ominous rumbling. A man commands, "DROP to the floor now: During a large earthquake, the ground might jerk strongly and knock you down!" He demands that we take cover under furniture and hold on to our shelter until the shaking stops. The quake sounds crescendo. Glass breaks. Then: "Look around. What objects might fall or be thrown at you?" Finally, the low, rolling sound dies out. The earthquake drill is over.
