Commercial market research companies, unsurprisingly, do not put large amounts of market research free on the Internet. Therefore alternative sources of market research are of interest. Trade associations can be good (if not unbiased) sources of information on their sector and a useful new site is the Trade Association Forum. This UK body has been set up with the support of the DTI and the Confederation of British Industry.
