Chevron to accept Fuelman fleet card, will rebrand Havoline in separate move

Chevron will begin taking Fuelman and FleetWide fleet cards at both Chevron and Texaco branded stations, effective Nov. 11. The company says adding the two cards will expand payment choices available for marketers' commercial customers and could attract new business to their stations.rnAccording to Fuelman Network, sites that perform well can see over 300 customer visits per month and 11,000 gallons in fuel sales, as well as more c-store and ancillary purchases.rn"I think it will help retail store sales," said one Chevron marketer. "We will take anything we can get as a business booster."rnChevron's card acceptance fee for both Fuelman and FleetWide will be 2.60% of the sale amount, plus 35 cents per transaction. Chevron says Fuelman will work directly with sites that currently accept the Fuelman and/or CFN cards through separate POS devices.
