RFS Uncertainty for 2014 Remains as Year Approaches Midpoint

As we near the midpoint of 2014, uncertainty continues to hover over the biofuels blending requirements under the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS2) program this year. Not only is EPA late finalizing its mandated biofuels blending numbers for 2014-as the agency has been for the past several years-but because the numbers include unprecedented reductions, they are sure to ignite litigation when they are released.
