TA wary of acquisition frenzy

TravelCenters of America LLC (TA) continues to look for opportunities in the convenience store business, but it is also comfortable with the prospect of holding pat on the 31 Minit Mart stores it acquired in late 2013. "That's because pricing for c-stores is getting a little rich," TA Managing Director Thomas M. O'Brien said Friday. "The prices seem a little bit rich for our blood and whether or not that will translate into a frenzy of buying and acquisition prices is sort of yet to be seen, but if it becomes a frenzy, I plan to watch it and not participate."
