Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton said the state has named two defendants for alleged retail fuel price gouging as a result of Hurricane Harvey. Big Willy’s, which has locations south/southwest of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, had allegedly charged $3.99/gal and $4.99/gal for regular gasoline at numerous stations, according to Paxton. Tejano Mart in Laredo had allegedly charged consumers up to $9.99/gal for unleaded regular gasoline, he said.
