Wawa Inc. is awarding 15ct/gal discounts to customerswho pay for fuel with the Wawa App in October, the companysaid in an announcement. The promotion is called, "Tap, Pay& Save 15cts/gal."The large Eastern fuel retailer is not alone. Other fuelbrands – such as ExxonMobil, MAPCO, Phillips 66 andShell – also are encouraging mobile payment through theirproprietary apps.
