M&A: RelaDyne acquires Mid-Atlantic lube distributor

Private equity-backed RelaDyne, one of the largestlubricants suppliers in the United States, has acquiredPPC Lubricants, a leading Mid-Atlantic lubricantdistributor, for undisclosed terms, according to anannouncement.The company said the purchase of PPC increasesRelaDyne's penetration within its East Coast footprint,particularly in Pennsylvania and Maryland. Founded in1977, PPC, of Jonestown, Pennsylvania, supplies 800products to customers in eight states – Pennsylvania, NewJersey, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohioand New York.
