Parkland Corp. to launch EV charging network in 2022

As indicated in early May, Canadian fuel supplier/ marketer Parkland Corp. plans to launch an electric vehicle (EV) charging network in a region where demand is expected to increase – British Columbia. In an announcement Monday, the Calgary-based company said the 25 charging sites would be located on major highways and in key cities and towns in its retail footprint, stretching "from Vancouver Island to Calgary." The sites are expected to open in 2022. "While adoption is in its early phases, BC leads the way in North America, making this province a natural, scalable step for our EV charging network," President of Parkland Canada Donna Sanker said in the statement.
