The number of fatal, work-related injuries declinedat gas stations in 2017 after a three-year high in 2016. Butheavy-duty truck drivers – including petroleum haulers –posted a record high number of fatal occupational injurieslast year.The data come from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics’just-released “Census of Fatal Occupational Injuries in 2017.”
