James Fisher Defence wins ROV salvage contract

James Fisher Defence (JFD) has been awarded a four-year contract to provide ROV support services to the UK Ministry of Defence Salvage and Marine Operations (S&MO) team. The contract affords S&MO 24-hour on-demand access to JFD's engineering support cell for specialist support with ROV maintenance, mobilisation, operations, provision of spares and equipment hire services. Technical support, advice and expertise will be provided to S&MO by an Inchinnan-based team of eight personnel including ROV pilots, ROV technicians, subsea engineers, project engineers and project managers.
