Asso Maritima Navegacao Ltda recently joined ABEAM, the Brazilian Association of Offshore Support Vessel operators, bringing the total number of members of the association to 40. Augusta Offshore, based in Naples, Italy, has been involved in Brazil for some years now but as a non-ABEAM member, so the change in strategy may mean they are ready to start building again in Brazil, and developing still further their Brazilian flag fleet.
