With winter just around the corner, the time has come for vessel owners to post their third quarter financial results. And as always we have seen something of a mixed bag, both in terms of financial performance and views on the future of the market. Two of Northwest Europe's most established OSV owners -Havila Shipping and Siem Offshore - have posted slightly differing views. While posting a weaker third quarter income compared to last year, Havila has looked at the struggles currently facing owners in the North Sea. Siem Offshore, meanwhile, spoke about the positive future it sees for the OSV industry, while posting improved third quarter financials.
