United Stationers and software provider Business Management International (BMI) have agreed to terms for ongoing collaboration that will bring United's enhanced digital services to BMI customers. Included in the deal is the suite of digital capabilities that United offers, including SmartSearch, Premium Product Relationships, SmartMerchandising and advanced analytics capabilities, which enhance the online shopping experience for independent resellers' customers. Laying the foundation for future advancements in digital merchandising and marketing performance optimisation, United and BMI will also work together to develop capabilities that connect shoppers with additional product suggestions based on previous shopping patterns, browsing or cart abandonment.
